what do you think makes for a successful roleplay?
om i've been meaning to answer this for a while. so, what i think makes for a successful rp is the cooperation
of everyone who is a part of it (i.e. meeting deadlines, posting in the discussion, PLOT BUILDING). it's a
common occurrence in rps where a majority of the members leave everything up to the owner of the rp. peop
le get too scared (or too lazy? idk. it's different for everyone i guess) to voice their ideas, or even ask qu
estions! it's super frustrating, honestly. and it leads to a lack of interest, and eventually... the very, very, very t
ragic death of an rp before the first scene is over.

gap. do you have any specific plot ideas for any of the three? i would say that you should go with whatever y
ou feel like you can write the most for.

@vie dude, any and all of those concepts would probably be amazing with a rockin' plot, so i'll be lurking to see what you make... cx

@mor i honestly couldn't agree more. sometimes it feels like people just don't give roleplays a chance anymore; they just post their forms and then don't contribute, or they contribute to the planning but, when the actual thing starts, they bail. it's a never ending cycle and just a horrible habit that the roleplaying community has developed. and it's a shame because there are so many wonderful roleplays that die from it. i just wish there's something we can do to get people more interested in posting.

- an rp based in the 1920's filled with all the drama associated with that time
- ancient forgotten gods living among humans

what do you mean by "forgotten gods"? ones that are still in scriptures and texts etc but nobody believes in, or ones the rpers make up? imo they're not truly forgotten unless no record exists of them... it is interesting though. i like the third one the most.
