I literally agree with everything you wrote 110%. the art and animation themselves were beautiful,
but the plot was pushed towards the very last episode. when I finished the second to last episode,
I sat there thinking to myself: how are they going to possibly cram the entire ending into one episode?
then I watched it, and it happened. I was disappointed with the ending since, as you mentioned, it did
indeed have a lot of potential. garekixyogi is otp
the manga is much better, aha.

it also slightly bothers me that they changed gareki's eye colour from olive green in the manga to steel
blue for the anime... either way he's gorgeous, though（●´∀｀）ノ♡

Though I would say Free is already pretty much like that. Others would be Princess Princess or Binan Koukou Chikyuboeibu LOVE. Well and those other animes with BL fanservice.
