HONESTLY MY DISLIKE FOR DANY GROWS WITH EVERY PASSING EPISODE
I just...I don't know. She's her fathers daughter, I don't care how much she or anyone else denies it.
Conversely I'm not entirely opposed to her and Jon's romance anymore, which I'm 99.9% sure is gonna happen. I think they have good chemistry. I just don't like her UGHHHH.
That battle scene was awesome though. The sound effects, music, CGI, everything was on point. That scene with Tyrion looking over the battlefield and at Jaime with the sad Lannister theme playing was just x_x too good.
also I love Jaime Lannister more than life itself ahem

dany's his aunt so like that's weird,, but i dont see jon settling down with someone after ygritte happened

To be fair, they don't know they're related. And GOT certainly has no qualms with that sort of thing lol
But I'm in the same boat, I feel like not being in a relationship suits both of them after what they've been through. But ultimately I don't really mind if they get together.

Even if Jon and Dany knew they were related, the Targaryens used to marry within the family to keep the bloodline pure. So it wouldn't be that weird. There's even a part in the books where Dany talks about how she always assumed she would marry Viserys, her brother. I don't really think this was ever really explained in the show but it's why I feel that it would be way less weird if Jon and Dany got together then it has been with Jaime and Cersei.

jaime's and cersei's,, relationship,, makes me super uncomfortable
with all those certain scenes, bleh - i hope jaime can move on from that

I agree it's still messed up! I just meant in the whole history of Westeros, no one would think it would be weird if two Targaryens got together.

*shrug* considering the time period and the "justifications" (not that I support them) it doesn't even bother me that much. I mean, is it weird? Yeah lol. But Jon x Dany is leagues better than say, Jaime and Cersei. And even though I condemn their relationship, them being brother and sister (while also being in love) is an integral part to their characters. It adds another layer to them personally, as I'm sure Jon and Dany's relation will.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting incest either LOL. But it's kinda whatever in the GOT world, at least for me. Tons of houses have SOME form of incest going on, intentional or unintentional.

i understand what you were getting at! ^^
the targaryens wouldn't think it was weird, but a lot of other people would!
when aegon married his sisters, the seven did not want aegon's son to take the throne when he died
so the son burned down the sept - if dany won the throne and took jon as her king, no one would want to fight against it
but they would not be too happy about it - so i guess its just the church that would really be upset

when lysa arryn wanted robert to marry sansa, i was just "uuuh"
which is normal in their time but ye
i understand cousins, but when it comes to siblings or aunt and nephew, it seems pretty weird
or maybe im just saying this cause im not a dany x jon shipper
and im bitter about last week's episode when davos mentioned jon staring so dont mind me

Lmao I understand. I'm a tiny bit salty too, even if I have warmed up to their pairing a bit more >_<
on a happier note- what are your favorite romantic GOT relationships? I think Missandei and Grey Worm are one of the only wholesome, pure couples on the show ;_;
