Giftings can happen until I officially announce the hiatus.

None needed, although if you knew where the sima you got is from, that is helpful. When going through your Simas, do your best to figure out which is nursery and which is main. Main is pretty much any sima that isn't from the a nursery batch. So when you figure that out please label "nursery" or "main" by their names. Toyhouse labels work too.

I'll be posting an announcement on the hiatus later today, but it won't be starting today.

The hiatus will begin this Sunday, the 27th. once it begins, unless you are helping me with an event or with archiving, staff will be relieved of their duties and no more adopts or nursery batches will be created. No more MYOs may be posted then unless you were close to finishing it and just need approval for the sake of making archiving easier. April staff customs that anyone earned is preferred to be posted as soon as possible, but I don't expect these to be slam-dunked by the time the hiatus starts. So if you don't finish a late breeding in time, staff, no sweat. Just get it done when you can.

Agings can still be done. Any agings/myos pending approval at this moment will still be approved, we just need a little time. Also keep in mind that you cannot trade, sell, gift Simas and/or items when the hiatus begins.

As a reminder, proof is not needed for Simas and it is preferred that you have somewhat of an idea of where your items came from (whether it be from a specific event or person), but you will not be losing Simas and you won't lose items unless you forgot to add an item that you own after they're already recorded.

We will be trying to finish up this hiatus before October rolls over- so you have a couple months at least to make sure you didn't forget any Simas. Before PMing me, please, please make sure that you have all of your items together.

Thank you guys for the support, please don't be afraid to ask questions if you have any. Keep in mind we are focusing on archiving more than figuring out when it reopens, since there's a lot to get done.

If you have a normal MYO that's been pending approval for a while, please pm any of the mods or other co owners (or me) about
approval. (me, Glispa, ravemn-- or our mods Scei, FluffyTheUnicorn or Takura.)

As for how to get your Simas and Items safely archived, please send me a PM with the following form.
Please label your pm title with "archive" in the BEGINNING of the PM so that it'll be placed in the right PM folder.
this is very important.

Took me long enough to finally leave the species, since I've been with them since v1. so y e a r s
But lately, I don't feel anything for the species /it isn't fun,no good place for a collected group chat ect./

just in case you haven't noticed, we have announced numerous times that we have a discord chat and there are over 40 members to have a 'collected chat' with. everyone is welcome, but you have shown no interest in joining the discord chat.

HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT

Simas are now going on hiatus.

Any staff that have not contacted me or agreed to help out during the hiatus are relieved of their duties, but can keep their positions if they wish. Please PM me whether or not you plan to stay around, since I know not all of the staff have a Discord and are added to the Discord staff chat. Lack of response within a week or two, I'll just assume that you didn't want to stick around. Please also finish any overdue batches you have.

Keep in mind, we aren't sure when this will reopen yet- it will reopen as soon as possible, though. We assume around September or October. Thank you all for your support, you have plenty of time to send your items and Simas my way to get them registered to the new archives.

Keep in mind, at this time, you may not gift or trade your Simas, finish MYOs unless you already asked us about it/have pmed me, or anything of the sort-- now including agings and transfers. I know we said we would continue this, but it may be easier for us while we make the archive move. And MYO allowed to be finished by us, please get it done soon and any work in progress agings/transfers please mark that they've been a wip and get them done as soon as possible.

Otherwise, the rules of Simas are still in place. I've already gotten numerous PMs of people ready to get their Simas registered, and thank you so much for your cooperation, guys. I appreciate that you guys are so on board to get this done.

From around the 1st of June to the 8th or 9th of June, I won't be available to answer questions, but we'll keep you updated on the progress of the archives.

A google doc will be added to the front page of Simas and the discussion thread for everybody to locate if they are confused about anything or forget the guidelines.

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

we'll be starting our Summer Event in a matter of days! the theme is a secret, but we nearly have it complete. keep an eye out for the next couple of days! I found that it's best for June, since it's probably the only month where I won't be busy and have things going on (personal reasons as well as time planning for the archiving and Sima revamp).

The new Simas and items will be added to the new archives! So don't worry about making sure we have these ones, we'll document them as the event goes on.
