Hi there Pikka~ You've probably noticed that it's real quiet here... But new people are still welcome anyway~

Anyway, a few recent updates, I think...

IA English is now releasing on CeVIO (which I believe should be getting an official English menu/etc translation soon?), with her release date being the 29th! So soon~

And Chinese Vocaloids Zhiyu Moke and Mo Qingxian are releasing on July 10th!

Also relating to the Chinese Vocaloids, MUSYNX released on Switch, PS Vita and PS4 this week, and contains a number of Vocaloid songs, with more likely to be added as free updates in future! There's also limited physical releases for all three versions which feature Stardust on the cover art~ I imported the Switch version~

MikuExpo US kicks off on the 29th, so anyone who's attending one of the events, I hope you have fun~ I had considered attending the London one, but the price of the tickets, plus transport/etc is just a bit too dear for someone who doesn't have a particular attachment to Miku.

Amazon.jp stealth announced/leaked Vocaloid 5. They put up listings for a new AH-S Vocaloid, 桜乃そら/Sakurano Sora(?), and there's a very interesting bullet in the description...

I'd think that V5 updates would be a possibility... Maybe less so V4 ones, unless they're already so far in development that it'd be a pain to switch over. The two China 'loids had their release date pushed back to the 16th, so I'm guessing they're still on V4, unless they've been moved up to V5 (and that that also releases in the next few days). I know that a number of VBs are being discontinued from the Vocaloid Shop, and won't be available when they relaunch it... (List below is combined from both the English and Japanese lists of what is being discontinued, so there may be some overlap). Not sure when the relaunch will take place, but the store is currently under maintenance, so whenever it finishes that, so maybe the announcement will be after?

EDIT - So there we go, I slept and then there was the announcement and full release. Loads of info on the Vocaloid.com/en site, but it looks like it’s a more accessible/also more aimed at mainstream version of the software. Base bundle comes with four VBs, two female, two male, two English, two Japanese, along with a “Premium” bundle that adds both VYs and both Cybers, and all V3 and V4 VBs will work with it.
I assume AHS made their announcement, as I’ve seen at least two demo songs for Sora, but not a full art, though I’m not on my laptop.

just got back from the miku expo in washington DC!
it was really something. i wasn't expecting them to play meltdown after the song's absence in concerts for so long.
it's nice to see that kind of change in pace.
in other news, kaito's and meiko's songs were very enjoyable! as well as len's (dappou rock). i look forward to attending another miku expo someday.
the only downfall was the crowd; not that they were bad people, but it's quite hard to see with varying heights while standing on the floor.
nevertheless, it was still a great experience! i would definitely go again...!

has anyone heard this sakurano sora demo song?
i think her voice and designs are really pretty,
but she sounds a bit like a mix of meiko and lily.
i'm also guessing that people are going to ship her
with yukari because she was in the video, too.

tbh i didn't really care much for meiko or lily, but now that you mention it, she does she a lot like a mix haha^^
and probably- i've already seen ships of akari and yukari, and akari didn't come out that long ago :0

Yeah, we're still alive, juuuuust quiet.

I'll admit, I've not listened to a huge amount using Fukase outside of owning the Greatest Hits album, so my favourites using him would have to be a split between Alice or Worry Boy and Take Off Girl. Think he's got a pretty decent voice, though.
