Life on the surface in a nutshell: Frisk starts a YouTube channel and is taking 'ghetti lessons Undyne and Alphys are dating, and Undyne is sometimes comes in to Tori's school and teaches cooking Asgore and Toriel, while not getting back together, are becoming a little bit more friendly (friendly as in not threatening to barrage Asgore in fire balls every time he walks into the room) Sans is still Sans. Papyrus is still a cool dude.
Frisk does a cover of 'Build Our Machine' for convenience. "Yeah, you're heart starts racing when you hear that beat-" Spear of Justice starts playing really, REALLY loudly. Undyne slams the door open so hard it flies off it's hinges. "ITS TIME FOR YOUR COOKING LESSONS PUNK!" Undyne proceeds to grab Frisk and run off with them. Toriel only chuckles as they bolt by. "Looks like I'll need a new door..."
@Muffet I can just picture it now. You captured it perfectly. XD
@Tindra Awesome picture! I love her design.
Last night, I got home from a 24-hour Volleyball Tournament where nobody was allowed to sleep. Napping was strictly against the rules. We had to survive and play on through determination. I feel much better after sleeping for about 15 hours. XD
I was talking to my friend about symbolism in the English literature. Water means rebirth. Baptism, renewal, etc. When water appears in a literary story, it doesn't just mean "water", it symbolizes some kind of rebirth. Also, in Chinese culture where I came from, there is an ancient legend about a small fish that jumped over a waterfall. Through its undying determination to overcome that seemingly impossible obstacle (waterfall), the fish was transformed into a great dragon. The meaning of the legend is an allegory for hard work to overcome life's obstacles. Now, what does this say about another fish who lives in Waterfall? ;)
Thanks guys! XD I’m sick now, and my dad came up to me asking if my fins were okay.
I saw the fish —> dragon story from my culture as a symbol for how Undyne’s determination allowed her to reform into Undyne the Undying. I guess she does look more dragonlike in her undying form honestly! XD
My friend and I were having a discussion about how the genetics of different souls would work. He believes it wouldn’t be entirely genetic, but your genes could make you slightly more likely to get a certain color. For example, I’m pretty sure my parents are both perseverance (my dad might be perseverance/Justice) and my brother is certainly perseverance. It was pretty likely for my brother to be a Perseverance. But me being a Justice child, that wasn’t impossible either. It was just less likely for Justice to come from two Perseverance parents. (More likely if my dad WAS Justice though.)
