What do you people think of Cyber Songman? There's not a lot of examples of his voice yet, since it's been less than a day since he was released, but here's one of the demos.

Personally, I like his voice quite a bit. I've seen a few people saying he's like LEON V4, which is something I am 100% okay with because I would love Leon's voice if it wasn't so robotic.

Can't stop giggling at his name though. Who thought 'Songman' was a good idea? It's not even a real word! I've heard a few people calling him Cyan for short, which is a lot better.

DECO*27's uploaded a new song, MKDR! i find it quite catchy, and it's got a pretty familiar style.
initially, i thought it was an older song of his since it was just listed as a recommended video.
however, checking the date, i now realize it was only uploaded 15 hours ago! i can't wait for
a translation.
ah, that's it- this song reminds me of shiinamota's style. not only do the guitar chords sound
similar to strobe light, but so does the rest of the song overall (not to mention the PV)! i'm
really digging the sound effects used as well, especially the synth solo.

on another note, i should be getting the VOCALOID4 editor soon! neither the tiny VOCALOID3
editor nor piapro studio are doing me justice. the tiny VOCALOID3 editor is like an unlimited
demo, but notes can only be entered as far as 18 measures. piapro studio, on the other hand..
unfortunately, i'm sure we can all agree that it's downright laggy and uncooperative for most
people. i feel like crypton also lowered the quality of miku's voice samples purposefully.
wish me luck! i'm still in need of a better music program, so i'll probably just be working with
covers till then ;w;

in terms of the vocaloid 4 editor if you don't have the full v3 editor i think it's a great investment! the newest 1.3 update has made the whole concept of cross synthesis really fun to mess with. although apart from that it's not too off from v3 despite the new voicebanks that run on it.

i'm having a bit of trouble regarding my pick for cyber monday.
got a giftcard from a family member a few months back, and
i'm thinking about using it for something music related.

my choices are either the V4 editor or luka's V2.
as stated before, the V4 editor would make miku a lot easier
to use and will give me the full package. however, the gift
card i received will cover most of the price for luka's V2, which
will include the full V2 editor (note; i have miku's V3, not V2).
i don't plan on abandoning miku anytime soon. i love working
with her software, and i've gained a lot of experience since i
first begun! however, i've always thought it'd be nice to have a
duet, not to mention i love luka's voicebank just as much.
on the other hand, i'll need an editor eventually if i'm looking
to get V3 or V4 vocaloids in the future.

i keep telling myself, "V4 will solve all my problems for a few
bucks!'
and then
"luKA WOULD BE FREE,,,"

plus, the giftcard wouldn't cover $122 if i wanted it sooner, it'd still be, like, $50
