I would prefer to get Deoxys as a reward for completing a week worth of field research, not during ex-raids. And this is coming from someone that doesn't do raids.

Honestly thats how the super special rewards always felt like to me. Like something they were already intending on doing, but made us feel like we need to fight to get there.

They didn't have to do another Kanto event though or made everything x3 or lasting for 1 hour or whatever we had for the other minor rewards.
This is just... the cherry on top. Meh.

Anyway, todays community day was very good for me, even though I only played for half the time!
Since I don't use Chikorita in battles, I wasn't very interested in getting all the candy either...
Still managed to get a total of 11 shinies :0 even got two shinies in a row twice, holy. 96, 93 and 91% IV ones too.

I'll use the whole 3 hours next time again, some rumours said that it's supposed to be Beldum.
Still need a good one, only got two Beldums out of eggs yet and both have less than 90% IV.

I'm certainly displeased and hope there will be another way to get mewtwo at some point.

What? Mewtwo is in normal raids right now.

I've never seen a single other person around normal raids in my whole time playing pokemon go in my city. Was hoping an invite raid could actually collect a couple people.

Ah like that. Yeah. I really like the way you can get Mew and Celebi. Would be nice if something similar is figured out for Mewtwo and Deoxys. Something that doesn't require other people.

Caught 3 shiny Chikoritas today!! Woohoo! Got to evolve 2 Meganiums, one shiny and one not. Overall my best Community Day so far! (Mostly cause I actually woke up early this time XD)
Also, idk why but Chikoritas started glitching out the second half of today, and it was really weird. (Are we allowed to post pictures? Cause I would love for you guys to see how they glitched for me. I can't explain it well so...)

On the topic of Mewtwo and Deoxys:
I don't do raids because not enough people play in my area and Im way to shy to meet up with people from online. I'm not getting any raid-exclusive Pokemon either way, so I agree they should have made one of these two part of research tasks.

Easterrabbit2, did they have silver Ditto bodies with a lugnut for a head and a black dot for an eye? I captured five of them, and they were regular Dittos

Oh I'd love that. Mewtwo feels like a natural progression after mew, too.
Like the tasks are hard enough to take a while to complete, but also actually possible to do for those of us who don't have the luxury of playing in groups.

They were! They turned into Chikoritas once I caught them though. I wish mine had been Dittos :'3 Glad I wasn't the only one who saw them.

I got dittos someone in our local chat claimed he got kecleon, but I was freezing by the time the event was over I just took my dittos to get my mew quest done and left XD
