i got a new book yesterday that i'm extreamly excited to read! trials of apollo: the tryants tomb by rick riordan. it's the fourth installment in the series. i really reccomend the series (as well as percy jackson, heroes of olympus, kane chronicles, and magnus chase the preceding series) if you enjoy an actually well written young adult novel full of funny jokes, character and world building, action, adventure, fantasy, and really cute ships. trials of apollo is my favorite out of all of the series though because i think it has the most character growth, which i love. i'm such a dork for these books i could go on about them all day long if i could. but i'll spare y'all an essay

i also changed my user. i used to be beautiful mind

I know!!
Also, look me straight in the eyes and tell me that you would send a battle patrol to go attack a pregnant/new mother and her kits. Tell me that you would also send a cat to dig the roof of a cave to cause a rockfall to crush/kill any cats that were in there. Tell me. Who would even do that?!! Kill all of ShadowClan except Shadowsight and maybe a few others >:(

Kindle Unlimited (you don't actually need a Kindle) has a 30 day free trial and there's some good stuff on there. Never Die by Rob J. Hayes and Sword of Kaigen by M.L Wang are pretty popular fantasy picks (haven't read them but I have them both downloaded for...eventually, lol). Verity by Colleen Hoover is a really fast past thriller I read w/ KU and enjoyed. If you're into romance there's tons and tons available.

As for short books, This is How You Lose the Time War is a really popular sci-fi/lesbian romance going around right now and it's less than 200 pages I wanna say. The Murderbot novellas are less than 200 pages and pretty popular. I'm reading the Red Rising original trilogy right now and while I wouldn't call them SHORT (they progressively go from 300ish pages to into the 400s with each book) they're SO fast paced you don't even notice the length.

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head but if you give me your favorite genres or type of books I can look into it more!

SCREEChhh
I don’t understand why there are sooooo many dang cliffhangers. I can’t believe we have to wait until April 7th for the next book. Sigh.

My older sister is reading this. She is obsessed with the series lmao. Is is really that good? I’ve never read any of them, though I have considered doing so.
