Hey everyone!! We have some updates.

First, adopt #250 is up and adopt #300 is soon to be up.

Secondly, since we cleared up our breeding backlog I'm lowering the cool down to a month. Please take this with caution though, because if to many breedings come in at once I'll have to raise it again so we can catch up.

Thirdly, and our biggest thing:

We are adopting a new competition style. You register your Kennel/Cattery here. They can be the same place. The registry thread will explain everything to you. ^^

Then, head over to our new competitions thread here. The thread explains everything you need. An update with this is that your pets will now start out with 2 breedings slots and will gain more as you level them up.

If you have any questions remember you can head over to our ask.fm which is linked on the first post of the main thread, or come over to the discord chat to hang out with staff and other members of the community. Staff will answer PMs as well, if you prefer that.

The reason why you might feel alienated is because most of us talk on the SCS official discord now instead of on the fanclub, because otherwise it gets super spammy here and we don't want anything to be locked; it is much easier for us to talk, do join.me's, roleplay, and do pretty much everything on the discord! So we all hang out there.

That being said, the SCS discord is always welcome for anyone to join! We might be a little slow today because it is easter, but we're normally pretty chatty and definitely super happy to welcome anyone in :" >

The reason why we chose discord is because of how versatile and easy it is for everyone to use, and how safe it is for people; you won't be getting any creepy spam bots sending you messages like on skype, and you can use it on a phone or browser (meaning you don't have to download anything!) without a problem. No one can talk to you unless you're in the same server as them, which is a handy feature as well. You can direct message people which is just like chickensmoothie's personal messaging, but again only with people who are in the same group as you so there's no worry there. And there's no personal information being given away, because all you do to sign up is just using a signup email that only you can see, and then a password to log in. It has IP protection and DDOS support, meaning there's no fear of getting hacked and someone trying to impersonate you- it's actually safer than CS AND skype in this way c'x

That being said, if you feel a little lonely and like not many people talk on here- it's because we're all talking on the discord! All but one of the SCS staff is also on there so you're always welcome to ask us questions there as well; overall SCS is about the community and I personally feel the discord makes us more connected, so I do recommend you at least look into it or think about it!
