So, what are everyone's thoughts about Season 12? Any predictions for the last couple episodes?

I usually wait until after I finish a season and can look back at it as a whole before assessing what I think of it, but so far I've been enjoying the storyline -- more than I did Season 10 and maybe 11, I think. If nothing else, I feel like the pacing has been a lot better this season than it was in the last couple. ^^ Highlight for (major) spoilers: [And I'm really curious about what's going to happen with Lucifer's kid. I'm expecting (hoping) that the birth is going to happen, and regardless of which side he/she ends up on, having a character who's not only a nephilim but the child of Lucifer could make for an interesting addition to the story and possibly set up the plot for next season!]

So far I have been absolutely loving season 12, I'm kind of torn between team Lucifer and team Crowley. Supernatural has become a big part of me and I can't actually imagine life without it. Tomorrow I'm actually leaving with a friend to stay in a hotel and then Sunday I'm going to All Hell Breaks Loose 8. So excited. I'm going as Crowley.

favorite monster sam and dean had faced: the ghost from yellow fever; the ghost's story stuck with me & seeing dean so out of character really made me love the whole episode

other: when i first started watching spn there were only 8 seasons on netflix, now i've rewatched the whole series 3 times and we're on season 12! can't help but feel proud that we've come so far lol

was anyone a bit suspicious at the sheer amount of characters killed off or became inaccessible? i mean, characters are killed a lot, but for a singular episode it seemed like there were a lot a lot of named reccurings that fell.

Misha did say to record our reactions to the end of this. I have a feeling they have something planned, they have to. Im still so shaken up by the loss of Cas. Im still crying slightly... ><

if this was truly the end of cas, would misha truly be joking around on twitter, though? i mean, he's played the angel for so long, if he was actually given the slip wouldn't there be more sentimentality?

then again, we are still early in the post-finale process, so anything can happen.

<Yeah, I expect they're planning to bring back at least some of the characters they killed off, because that was a lot of main character deaths, even by Supernatural standards. I'd be really surprised if they were to permanently kill off Castiel or Crowley this late in the show because they're such key characters. 'Course that being said, I might have thought the same about Bobby and you can see where that went, so ...

I wonder, though, what does it take to bring back a character who died in a parallel world? Can they be revived directly back into "this" world, or would you have to go back to the parallel world, revive them there, and then bring them back across the portal? Guess we'll have to wait and see.>
