I agree with dazai in that you should look for less common double-colored pairs to use. As I run a hatchery, I also suggest finding someone who's willing to do graphics for you in order to draw in customers. A hatchery with a nice banner and breeding cards is more likely to get traffic than one without them. Other than that, have a title for your hatchery and a link to it in your profile and signature so people can notice it whether you advertise or not. As you play CS it wouldn't hurt to put a link to it in your sig here too.
Something that I don't see suggested often enough is to actually go through other people's hatcheries and see what coding and styles they use in order to decide your own. Don't copy someones entire hatchery of course, but if you like their formatting then use it. If you like the order of their sections (Sales, Pairs, Rules, etc.) then do the same in yours. Researching what other people are doing is definitely helpful in getting you to decide what you want your own hatchery to look like.
