Absolutely! My husband and I started listening to Balance after finding other McElroy brother content on YouTube, and I loved the silly nonsensical tone they started off with. I think the playfulness of the series accentuated the seriousness that came later. And man oh man, did I cry when I finished Balance! I actually just finished it last week and I can't stop thinking about it. The final arc made me like Magnus so much more!

Same!!! I finished it literally three days ago! I was straight up weeping. So good.
I listen to MBMBaM religiously, and I watch Monster Factory, but I haven't listened to any of their other podcasts.

I just started listening to MBMBaM recently and it's absolutely hilarious!

I just got tickets to a live reading of a TAZ graphic novel with all of the McElroys! I'm beyond excited for it!

(this is kind of spoiler-y and im assuming thats allowed) magnus's death kills me, and the scene with julia always brings me to tears. griffin is such an amazing story teller and is so good at making memorable characters!

Welcome to the party! Oh man, Magnus's death killed me a little bit on the inside. "Magnus rushes in, one last time..." So good!

Griffin really is an amazing storyteller. I'm always amazed by the way he got me to care about certain characters, especially when the show started off as a funny spoof of a serious game.

Do you play D&D? I noticed that you're also a fan of Critical Role!

yes, i do play d&d, taz is actually what got me interested! ive been playing with an alternating group of my friends for maybe 3 years? i usually dm- but it switches around sometimes :)

Nice! I've always wanted to DM, but I feel like I would be pretty easily overwhelmed if the party decided they had other plans and deviated from the story.

I do play! I'm actually involved in two campaigns at the moment. I've been playing with one group for almost four years as a wood elf ranger/bloodhunter. The other group I'm in just started a few weeks ago after my husband was also inspired by TAZ to DM. In that campaign, I'm a blue dragonborn cleric!

How do you enjoy DM'ing? It seems challenging but really rewarding.

Same! I'm glad they're going back to playing a longer D&D campaign again. I love the characters so far.
