Dobermans are usually large, slim characters. If you are going for a more realistic style, make the legs skinny. If you are going for a cartoon style, the legs should be thick, but well-lined. Realistic styles, are well-detailed and such, while cartoony, is more... fantasy-like, if I should say. Look at this red-lined sketch for example, it is in a cartoon style. I hope this helped anyone with realistic and cartoon dog styles!
