Step 1: First draw the eye shape and fill it in with black
Step 2: Scribble a dark color of whatever color you want the eye to be (in this mine is a green eye).
Step 3: Smudge the dark color you chose with the black. When smudging do it up and down in a circle, go with the direction of the eye (with the smudging tool's size under 20).
Step 4: Scribble a neon color of whatever color the eye is. When scribbling don't scribble a lot, do more scibbling on the brighter part of the eye and less scribbling on the darker side of the eye. While at this stage you can add some brown to give it more contrast.

Step 5: Smudge all the colors together, with the smudging tool's size under 20.
Step 6: Now add the pupil with black.
Step 7: Smudge the edges of the pupil with the coloring of the eye (with the smudging tool's size on 1).
Step 8: Now add lighting. Since my eye is green, most green eyes have yellow so I added lighting with pale yellow. You also want to add some white lighting where the reflection is in the eye.
Step 9: Now add where the reflection is in the eye with white or a bright color (Use the pen with the size 2).
Step 10: Now smudge the reflection, then smudge the whole eye together with the smudging tool on 1.
