"I'm not used to nightmares, barely had any before I got here. If they're visions, I got no idea what they're trying to tell me."
Phineas leaned back and took a deep breath.
"I dreamed I was... on a lake or something. It was dark, pitch black all around, I had water up to my knees, and it was hard to walk. A flock of birds flew past me, pretty much through me with no warning, and it cut and stung wherever the birds had touched me... I heard a voice say something I didn't get, it sounded arabic, maybe ancient egyptian, I dunno... then I started sinking out of nowhere, like I was pulled down, and I saw a light, but the more I tried to swim towards it the harder it got. I woke up feeling like I was drowning."
The young boy squeezed his arm again.
"Pretty much all my nightmares end with me drowning nowadays. And they all have some bird stuff. I know my dad's egyptian in some way, but... Y'all don't think that's how I'm being claimed, right?"

Damien scowled as no one seemed to be outside his cabin. He should have just stayed inside and kept playing his violin. He hated pranks. They were childish and inappropriate. He was going to go back into his cabin and slam his door, when one of the other demigods started walking over, having noticed what had happened, seeming amused by him talking to no one. Margareta, if he remembered her name correctly, which he was sure he had. "Either that or someone knocked and decided to run away. Ridiculous." Damien replied, his tone irritated. "What do you want? he then asked, figuring that he was out here now, and Margareta had approached him, so he may as well find out what was going on. He wasn't quite the sort to close his door in someone's face. Yet.

Ugh. Whoever had thrown the paper must have run off. How annoying. Aurelius wasn't sure if he recognised her, he didn't tend to pay much attention to most of the others. She seemed to know his surname at least, though. "Aurelius Bellamy, yes." he replied, raising an eyebrow slightly, as she asked him a question - and had introduced herself as Griselda. "What? Oh - someone threw a ball of paper at me. Must have run off, though... unless it was you?" Aurelius replied, lightly teasing at the end.

The outdoor amphitheatre was not very big - only a few rows of benches that surrounded about half of the performance area - but then, it didn't need to be particularly big anyway. This was where Lyric spent quite a lot of their time, though. Rehearsing or performing the latest story, or otherwise their own poetry. Or, they introduced other demi-gods that also wanted to give their own performances, showing how to capture an audience and be lively on the stage. If one could call it a stage.
Today, Lyric was very much engrossed in their rehearsal, even at this point in the morning. The story of Pandora's Box, a very well-known Greek story. Personally, they thought it would look better if they were just narrating and some of the others were doing some acting, but they rarely got the volunteers for it. So, it was usually up to them.
"And, as Pandora lifted the lid of the box, she peered in to see that there was just a flame left, burning brightly. And that flame was hope." Lyric finished, but hesitated afterwards. Maybe it needed something a little more. A bit extra. They did not have too much time to dwell on it, as they soon heard clapping from the benches. Lyric looked over, to see one of the other demi-gods must have been watching and they hadn't noticed. Lyric grinned, and took a bow, "Why thank you," [/quote]

I nodded and watched the horse trot and squeal around. I said "Here why don't we swim a little closer to shore-" I saw him calm down once he spotted her. "Does he freak out too much if your gone long we'll only swim for about 20 minutes as long as you can swim that long."
