Confidence. Maddie exudes confidence with every move. Maybe she's tired of the height jokes, maybe she hasn't slept in three days, or maybe she's just born that way. Whatever the reason, Maddie takes everything in her stride. Her confidence makes her both brave and impulsive. She'll flirt with anyone, but she's just as likely to fight with anyone. Maddie believes that there's nothing she can't handle; she is wrong. Her first impression of someone is something she cannot forget, nonetheless forgive.
History:
Maddie lived in a world where magic and myths were hidden from the average human. She was chosen by higher beings to be one of the few dozen humans that could learn about the magical world. Her job was to protect both sides from each other as a peacemaker. Maddie took up the job, but learned that you can't make peace without breaking a few bones.

J.D. walked alongside Ain for a long time in dead silence. The only sound that could be heard was the crunching of dead leaves beneath his boots. Whatever had happened to this city, nature had taken it back. Aside from the few and far in between remains of buildings, there was nothing to show that this'd been a civilization. Who could've lived here was a mystery to him. Everything was a mystery to him at this point. He was still having trouble believing this "magic" stuff.

Looking to Ain, he smiled a little and sighed. "It's almost peaceful here, isn't it? Compared to where I'm from, it is. It's nice to start new with someone you don't know."

Ain nods. "It is nice... Very peaceful, especially compared to my world." He says, glancing back at the boy. "Though the thing troubling me is the fact there's almost no sign of other human life... Which makes me very worried there might be a threat of creatures that we don't know about here..." he adds.

"If there's anything like...'monsters' around here..." He just, cut himself off, his sentence unfinished. The thought of 'monsters' was somewhat terrifying. If there were guys with weird goddess glass magic, who's to say there aren't any monsters? He pulled his revolver and held it at his side. "I'm gonna..stay armed."

Ain nods, having his magic create a glass long sword for him. He didn't know what monsters there would be but he didn't want to find out, because normally he wouldn't be affected by monsters but as it is he feels himself running out of magic to use. So it seems his "immortality" is not with him here in this place.

This is a bit awkward, not knowing where to go from here, but, just to be sure, would you like our characters to run into other people's characters (they don't seem to be very active right now), or some sort of monster, or something else? Not to put pressure on you to decide, before I do anything I just want to have your OK.

OOC; I'll do what I can in terms of that, then. I'm thinking our characters should take it down in a fight because I don't want to create a plothole and have it start terrorizing the other people's characters.
