The gryphon stood up and turned towards the summit of the hill. Looking up, she could just see the lighthouse, its white figure glistening in the sun. Setting off in a wall, Ezra padded up the hill slowly. Sending occasional glances towards beach city. Maybe thulite is there... I doubt it. she thought to herself, huffing in frustration.

Slowing to a jog towards the temple, Onyx glanced around to see if any gems were nearby, she could see what looks like a jade, walking to the temple, but she didn't want to socialise at the moment so the black gem quickly bent down and grabbbed the sharpest rock she could see before running back to the large "runestone" she was creating.

"Earth... It's a gem colony, right?" Moonstone said still in the dark about most of the events in the war. "If you say its nice then I would like to go and see this planet." Moonstone said.

"Um.... the diamonds have not yet succeeded to take over earth, it still belongs to the fascinating creatures called, humans. Anyway, let's go." Her wings sprouted and she held out her hand in case the moonstone had no other way of travelling.

Limestone/Hunters/Outside the temple/Calm
Limestone decided to leave and when she stepped outside she immediately sensed humans, all armed. She innocently strolled around and realised they all saw her and were prepared to shoot.

Rock Crystal / Emerald

Even though Rocky had to fully concentrate on the battle, she managed the record the last of Purple Diamond before quickly tapping her gem en swiped it to send it to the other Rock Crystals. Now, this method of sending information was quite unreliable, since there was a high chance of it being either intercepted by Rock Crystals that worked for other Diamonds or getting lost in space. However, if the odds were even further NOT in her favor, she probably wouldn't be able to get out of this confrontation alive. It was her only hope of getting it to White Diamond.

Right now though, one might argue she had bigger problems. If she let go, she would give the Emerald his primary and probably most efficient weapon back. Though, if she held on, there was a huge chance of getting poofed. Rock Crystal weren't exactly known for being durable in battle for a good reason.

But she had a plan.

She yanked on the chain as hard as possible in the hope to bring the Emerald out of balance. She then let go, right before the energy reached her, and stormed at the Emerald. She then let herself fall and slid over towards the Emerald, only to kick up as much sand at her as possible. She hoped his vision would too blurry to see her running away, right in the direction of Purple Diamond.

Emerald lost his balance in the air when the Rock Crystal yanked the chain, but the cloud of sand only bounced off his visor. It was still enough to allow the Rock Crystal to pass before he could stop her. OI! he shouted. I'm not done with you! I don't allow deserters! He reattached his left arm enhancers and fired multiple rapid-fire blasts hoping to hit her. When the accuracy failed him, he grunted and hovered directly at the fleeing gem, hoping to cut her off before she could catch up to Purple Diamond. He swung the guillotine in a sideways arc, directly at the Rock Crystal. Though his lasers were inaccurate, his chain guillotine could smack a fly out the air 50 feet away. He was dangerously accurate with it. If he landed this, the Rock Crystal would most definitely destabilize.

"Really? Another species inhabited Earth? Interesting." Moonstone said curiously, she then held onto Ambers hand firmly.

Purple Diamond &Fire Opal

Viola looked behind her, only to see the Rock Crystal was in persuit, she jumped high above the temple, landing on the Goddess' head, she looked to Fire Opal, who immediately brought up not one, but two Water Hand this time, trying to swat at the Crystal, if they succeeded in doing so, they could at least send the Gem flying some distance back.

Amber grabbed her other hand and flew them both down to earth and didn't land because she noticed some humans with weapons she landed behind the one that seemed to be the most aggressive, probably the leader. Tar slapped his weapons onto the floor and she secured his feet. "What do you think you're doing?"

Rock Crystal / Emerald

Of course it was too good for her to hope she would be able to get away that easily. Darn visor. If she survived this, she would have to ask some Homeworld gems about a tool to fool these visors. IF she survived this. And while the Emerald didn't seem to be very effective with his laser shots, she had been right about the guillotine being the Emerald's most dangerous weapon.

The guillotine swung at a too high speed to avoid it. But, like White Diamond once said: "If you cannot flee: fight for your life."

Her gem glowed. She reached for it. And just as she was about to get hit, she spun around...

...And deflected the weapon with an identical guillotine with chain.

Emerald recoiled at the sight of the Rock Crystal pulling out an identical weapon. Chances were low that she had the same weapon naturally, but it was still shocking. Emerald's stunned flinch didn't last long, however. He knew Rock Crystal's could copy weapons and use them against their enemies. However, the Chain Guillotine was a dangerously hard weapon to master. If one didn't know how to control it, they could accidentally swing it back around and hit themselves with it. It would take centuries to master to its fullest extent.

And Emerald had been around for more than centuries. For 863,000 Earth years, he had been living with his weapon. He had practiced with it countless times. He had discovered new ways to use the unruly weapon. He had learned how to manipulate it to swing at faster, deadlier speeds than most other gems, with greater accuracy. He was not about to let himself be outdone by some delicate little copycat.

He yanked the chain back and straightened it in the air for half a second before pulling it back at himself. He dodged his own blade and grabbed it again, this time at a farther end, stopping the blade and redirecting it. He swung it powerfully in an arc just far enough away to psyche out the Rock Crystal and immediately followed it with an opposite sideways slash.

The Rock Crystal couldn't have been expecting a maneuver like such. It had taken Emerald himself a good chunk of his existence to learn how to do that.
