~Story~
“Hello! Welcome to Briarwood Academy!” an overly preppy happy-faced girl exclaimed. “This will be short and sweet. Classes over here, training practice over there, gym, cafeteria, and dorms. Go on now, get settled!” The lady said quickly scurrying off.
You see here everyone is classified by their powers. Some powers are determined by their eye color, some just how they were born. Your parents shipped you off here, not in the midst of you finding love or anything else, but to learn how to control your powers and when the two year period is up if you’ve mastered your powers you get to leave the Realm and academy and live a some-what normal life blending in with your powers.

Dorm Room Number: 1
Power: Talking, seeing, and hearing the dead
Personality: Avery is very quiet and shy. She knows how to fight and almost always has been able to. Although she’s shy and quiet, she’s very social once you get to know her. She was raised by her older brother and his wacky friends because her father outcast her because she looks too much like her mother and that was how she began to learn to fight. She became very quiet and shy because she had practically no friends and soon became one of the guys as most guys put it.
History: Avery started to notice her powers when she was about five. She started to get nightmares which turned out to be the dead communicating to her through-out her dreams. Four years ago she started to get visits from a boy who was seventeen the time he was killed. He wants her to learn how to control her powers here and help him find the man who killed him. She became her friend though only she can see him and it really bothers her at school when he’s talking to her and she can’t talk back so she found another way to communicate with him. When she allows him, she can talk to him through her thoughts though it caused her to get a reputation at school of being very weird though she really doesn’t care.
Any Siblings: Jay
Sample of RP:
Avery walks down the long dark hall-way. It was quite clear to her that this part of the building has been abandoned. Spiders and other bugs run across the floor and her footsteps echo around the place. Cautiously she creeps forwards until she reaches the exit; glad to be rid of that creepy place. It was starting to give her chills down her spine. She turns down a path and picks up her pace so that she’s sprinting down the hallways looking for a place to be free from. She stops, panting and out of breath and slumps against the wall. The coolness of the bricks feels good against her skin as she presses her forehead against it. Slowly, her heart stops pounding and she can breathe again. Carefully, she steps out of the shadows ready to face what is in front of her.
She wants out; to be free from this horrid place where nothing seems to make any sense. Every turn she makes ends up being a wrong one no matter how right it may have seemed at first. She snuggles deeper into her jacket and summons up all the courage she can muster and starts walking again. Her footsteps start to echo again as she desperately searches for an exit. It has occurred to her that this is all a mind-game, hilarious to the maker horrifying to the player. The person at the start told her good luck, and made her give him her phone. Now, she understood why. She leaned down to pick up a rock and tossed it up into the sky, closing her ears as the deafening ringing began. There was a dome surrounding the maze and the wave-lengths of a cell phone could crack it and help her get out. Avery groans as she realizes she’d never get out of the maze.

Dorm Room Number: 1
Power: Listening to people’s minds
Personality: He’s not one to be quiet. When he gets mad or angry he’s real quiet and doesn’t say anything because if you get him to the point he yells, you’re in for it.
History: Jay started to notice his powers when he was 14. He came to school one day and it freaked him out because he could hear what everyone was thinking and though that they were saying it out-loud. He hasn’t really learned to control it yet, so school is very difficult for him.
Any Siblings: Avery
Sample RP:
Jay cracks his knuckles. This was going to be fun. He slips his hands into the boxing gloves and starts to train, dodging blows and landing in an uppercut. He was tired and mad today; his trainer could tell. After merely five minutes of training the director called him to a stop telling him that he was too unstable to keep his mind on the fighting and that he’d hurt himself. Instead Jay’s mind wandered to what had happened earlier and made him all that much angrier. He started to punch at the punching bag for practice knowing well enough that his trainer was watching his every move but at this point he was so furious that he could honestly care less. That guy had hurt his little sister and he had so badly wanted to punch him but didn’t.
He wasn’t sure if it was his pride or the fact that his little sister was bleeding that forced him not to. He had felt her slipping away in his arms and that scared him more than he had let on. He had yelled at the rescue team when they tried to take her away from him. He was afraid they would hurt her worse but eventually had let her go. The sounds of the sirens had been almost deafening then but he hadn’t cared. All he had wanted was for her to be okay. The after effects of what had happened were now sinking in, making him feel weak. All that he knew was if she wasn’t okay, there’d be h*ll to pay.
