I rub my eyes open, feeling the light glare of the sun waver on me. Not a bad day, I suppose. But I would like it
cloudy, not like these hottish days. Not too hot, not too cold, and safe. I pick up the bundles of clothes I left by the table yesturday and head for the river. I take a quick bath, or if you call it a river bath, and pull on the clothes. A plain long sleeved shirt and jeans. I like this pair, though its too much like normal humans. I don't notice Rain, my cat, until I start my way towards where everyone is. I stroke his soft fur and let him hop on my shoulder, as I walk towards the voices.
