Mark had dosed off shortly after he had finished a bit of training, exhausted due to the fact he had not gotten sufficient sleep the previous night. He slept rather well for a few hours before his heart rate quickened. His heart thud like a horse's hooves pounding against the earth within his chest as he rolled over quickly, gasping as tears rolled down his cheeks. He did this unconsiously for a few minutes before jolting awake. He held back a scream, biting his tongue. He didn't want to wake the others accidentally. He climbed out of the bed, running out of the room. Tears clouded his vision as Mark blindly stumbled outside, dropping to his knees as he clutched the sides of his head.

Jay shifted, sleeping face down in a pillow. He jolted at the sound of rattling wood when Mark ran out. He sat up, blinking a few times to adjust his eyes to the lack of light in the room. "Anyone awake?!" He whispered rather loudly. He yelps as a pillow launched at his face.

"I am now!" Cole whisper yelled at him. "Wait.. Gimmie my pillow back!" he waved an arm blinkly, aiming to catch the pillow if Jay threw it back. He grunted as Jay dove on top of him.

"Delivery!!" Jay giggles, yelping as Cole covered his face with a pillow.

"Shut up, Jay! The others are trying to sleep!" Cole whispered louder.

Jay started to giggle uncontrollably, the laugh muffled by the pillow. "Cole I can't breathe!!!"

Zane, like the others, had been sleeping until he faintly heard Mark rush out the door. He slowly began waking up then suddenly jolted up, hearing Jay and Cole messing around. "Jay... Cole... What is going on?" The boy asked with a yawn. "Is everything alright?"

(Hm... I'll use Kioku to help Mark perhaps? -shrugs-)

[kia.]

Jay bit back a scream. "Cole!! I can't breathe!!!" He yowled. "Get off of me!!" He gasped for are as he giggled.

Cole rolled on top of Jay, using his head to keep the pillow on the other boy's face. "Go to sleep, child."

"Haalpp!!" Jay yowled, although he hoped he wasn't loud enough to bother Sensei. A few tears streaked down his face from laughing as he struggled, still amused by Cole's reactions.

Mark wrapped his arms around his abdomen, gasping for air as his heart continued to thunder within his chest. He let out a broken sob, tears dripping off his chin, falling into the ground in front of him. He wasn't sure if he awake, but the nightmare continued to play in his head.

Zane frowned softly, listening to the other ninja, "You are going to wake up Sensei. And Cole, perhaps you should not sufficate Jay." He offered, chuckling softly. "I would not be surprised if everyone else might have woken up!" He chuckled.

Kioku sighed, hearing Jay and Cole messing around. She decided to get up and tell them to stop before everyone woke up from their much needed sleep. She walked out, yet before she got to the boys' room, she saw Mark. Confused, Kioku walked over to him and sat next to him, "Mark..." She said gently.

(Excuse my weird wording ^^)

Cole yelped, falling face down on the floor as Jay pushed him away.

Jay gasped, taking in as much air as he could. "Victory!!"

Cole groaned. "I fell on my face.." He muttered.

Jay sat up, tossing a pillow down at Cole. "Take your pillow back! It smells like you!"

"Do I stink?" Cole asks, shooting a questioning glare at Jay.

Jay saw roughly the expression Cole had, and he decided to keep quiet. He looked over at Zane. "Sorry for waking you up! I woke up 'cause Mark charged out."

"Again?" Cole got up, blinking.

Mark looked over at Kioku, trembling uncontrollably. "What?!" He asked, fear and pain chiseled across his normally smiling face.

Zane nodded, "It is alright! I do not mind as much as the others would have." He said. "I hope that Mark is alright."

Kioku looked at him and said, "Take deep breaths. Relax. You are going to be alright."

[kia.]

"I don't think it's healthy to bottle it all up and hide when he breaks." Jay glanced toward the door. "It only hurts you more."

Mark shook his head, looking away as he struggled to calm himself down. "I hate this.. so... much.." He coughed between breaths.
