Lestrade smiled. "I see. Well, will you be wanting your shoe back? It's right there, I can go get it for you, if you want..." he trailed off, wondering why he was being so nice to this girl. Meh, whatever. He mentally shrugged it away. She seemed nice enough.

"My, that's awful nice of you." She said, just a bit confused. Was he hitting on her? She looked like she was going to say something else, but stopped. She shook her head. "Um, I suppose so..."

Lestrade crouched down by the ball pit and reached in, fishing out the shoe. He remembered his mother doing the same thing for him, when he was little. He stood and set the shoe down by Roger's other shoe. "Just in case your family tradition starts to hurt your feet, you know." he said with a completely straight face. Putting his right hand in his pocket, he said "Shall we?" gesturing with his left hand to the door out to the main console room.

:::History::: The Master grew up as any other Time Lord, On the beautiful red planet of Gallifrey. The Master was taken as a young boy to the time vortex as all Time Lords are, to stare into the swirling chasm of time itself. It was there he was thought to have lost his mind. The Master followed The Doctor though time, and time again. Regeneration after regeneration, He was there. Abusive, cruel, evil, always waiting. Each regeneration grew younger, more playful, but yet still underlying evil. He was masked with hate, and a curiosity of why only he heard the drums. He tried countless times to conquer the world, like an evil villain, but is he truly evil? It's shown in his last days, not only did The Master find the truth out, but he also found he actually could care, and did. He'd gave what was left of his depleting life to save The Doctor, who so many times given him the chance before. The Doctor wanted to help him, to make him see, and now he knew.. What he didn't know was with the Rift so harshly torn open, he would be given another chance. Here Come, The Drums! Again!

Richie is a Time Lord, a child of Gallifrey... though he is a bit different from the others, and the Doctor. Richie, one, has a known name, and two he doesn't really go to Earth to help humans, but he isn't harmful to them either. He's a treasure hunter. He hops planets in his freshly painted pink TARDIS in search of gems of old. Richie is caring, and open, but that also made him the oddball out. He was disregarded as a member of his race and was shipped off before the time war. He found out about it later, and didn't really care. They didn't like him, and he didn't like them.. but he did have a special connection with The Doctor for sometime, that was until his 'disappeared.'

Richie was notorious among the Time Lords. He was the odd ball, and hated as such, but the Doctor opened up to him, and they formed something very special.. But once the others found out, He was kicked from Gallifrey and left to fend on his own. Richie isn't the type of Time Lord that regenerates, and when he 'died' his life force, instead of a watch, was stored in a simple jar. The form he'd taken wasn't too much different then his normal self, more blonde. He grew old, but the Time Lord inside of him needed that youngness, that regeneration feeling.. thus he created the age reversal, and the name Professor Richard Lazarus was born. The Doctor had taken him out, and once he thought he was gone, left. When Lazarus fell, his Laboratory fell to ruin, letting out the built up jarred energy to find it's way back home. He decided to keep the blonde hair, since he remembered the Doctor grring at his gingerness.

Lestrade almost laughed. Almost. He certainly smiled, and led the way out, turning and waiting for Roger once in the corridor, wanting to walk with her for some reason. He put his left hand in his pocket, the picture of casual. Without sunglasses, granted, but he wasn't on vacation, and he was glad that the incident in Baskerville was over. Maybe he should go overseas next time...
