Favorite Anime Show? +General Anime Discussion

I've been watching a lot of Onegai My Melody lately- even though it's aimed at kids, I still think it's pretty good I cried so much during the last episodes of Kuru Kuru Shuffle, my gosh... ^^;

I don't watch a ton of anime and not a lot of them "click" with me. Except Fairy Tail. I don't know what it is about it, but it feels special to me and I really love it. I'm on episode 11 of the 2014 series (In Grand Magic Games arc). My favorite character is Happy and my second favorite character is Erza

Edit: When I was younger, I loved the series of pokemon that was gen 1-3. The original series was the best though

I'm well-known to be "the musician" of our class. One of my classmates told me to watch an
anime called Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April). She told me it was about a pianist,
and she knew I could relate to the series.

I watched one of the episodes and I was instantly intrigued by the plot. I started watching
more and more episodes, until I found myself staying up all night. I ended up finishing the
series in only one day.

I fell in love with all of the characters. I've never cried so hard in an anime before, I just
got really attached to the characters. Kousei is my probably my biggest anime crush :P

I still have marathons on Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, I'm obssesseddd, and I keep crying every
single time. I don't know, but the anime really opened my eyes to music and made me love
it even more.

Pokemon has always been my favourite anime show if it can be considered an anime show <3

I've gotten attached to some newer anime, such as Gabriel Dropout, and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, but older ones, such as Sailor Moon, and Pokemon will always hold a place in my heart.

@TapiocaDrink I tried BSD and couldn't fully get into it even though the style intrigued me a lot!! The way you talk about it makes me want to try it again, though!

Danganronpa - I fell in love with the art style, and plot
