The Sims 3

I have it but I cant play it yet. When ever I go to install it,it says the Sims 3 needs to update so I update it then it says that there is no Sims game on my computer but I can still play the Sims fine. So I was just going to uninstall it and reinstall it but its not showing up in my system programs and some stuff I cant uninstall so I have to restore my whole computer system because something is wrong with it. Oh and to top it all off I think my mom threw away all of our system restore C.Ds. -.-

I'll try to help you with some questions...
1. Is the Sims 3 disc in the disc drive?
2. Do you have any mods? Outdated mods cause problems.
3. Do you have EA Download Manager? It helps when updating the game.

I got the digital download on orgin beacuse my laptop likes to eat CDs.
I disabled all the mods and I think I deleted them all.
Yes I think I do.
I did a system restore and click on my sims and it's updating automatically now. So hopefully after its done patching I can install the sims.

If it's still not working, it's probably a problem with Origin.

Its not the Sims or origin. Its my computer because its not just the Sims im having problems with. I called the tech support but they charge you for it if your warranty is up.

I have the game. It is very fun, but the Sims 3 Pets (I don't think it's out yet..) will be 10x better, expected. ^^

I just ordered Sims 3 plus pets, I get it sometime this week! Sadly, I used up all of my B-day money, now I have to wait to get more expansion packs. :'|

i had to buy the xbox version because my pc kind of doesn't have enough space. ;_;.
but i can make space now, i'm kinda hoping i can get sims 3 pets for the pc
isn't there a version that isn't an expansion pack??
but i heard it doesn't have horses, or something? or is that only the xbox version?

Hm, that sounds like an XBOX thing. I don't have an XBOX, so I'm not sure though.

The x-box version does not have horses. I'm not sure if it's just the x-box or all console games. I'm not really understanding about there being a version that's not an expansion pack beacuse the pets is an expansion of the sims so it just adds things likes pets and new stuff into the game itself. The only one I would think not to be an expansion pack is for an x-box beacuse you do not need have the base game to play pets. If that made any sense.

Hold CRTL ALT SHIFT C all at once and spell in the blue bar motherlode (yes its supposed to be miss spelled) to get $50,000
shazaam - +2,500 lifetime happiness points to active Sim
freerealestate - Ignore the cost when buying a lot
set career [career/level] - Give selected Sim a career and more here.http://www.gamesradar.com/cheats/pc/the-sims-3/ Im not sure if all of these work, I do know that motherlode works. I use it a lot. >.<

What about posting some pictures of the pets you've created so far?
I think, it's really interesting to see what other people created with Sims 3.
I will post also some pictures, but for now my PC is ruined...
