I watched a book to movie adaptation of what is- in my opinion - an amazing book: "Messieurs Les Enfants" by Daniel Pennac. It was quite ok for a book adaptation! Sure they took out some of my favourite things and added others, but I guess they weren't essentially and I believe that the biggest add on was a wink to another one of Pennac's novels.

And then I found out it got a worse score than the Au Bonheur Des Ogres movie. Which is preposterous??? They cut out one of my favourite characters and added a random CGI giraffe! Basically I'm just,,, basically personally offended

Interesting movie! It’s about a boy that washed up on an island after a great storm. Everyone believed he was sent by the god of mischief, and he becomes and outcast until he meets a merchant who makes Johnny his apprentice.

just finished inside llewyn davis and I'm quite in love.
not only with the music, the cinematography, the actors-
but I find myself infatuated with the cyclical tale it tells- especially with the ending where it truly shows what llewyn's life is- a cycle.
would recommend
