For me, it would have to be making fiends. What a funny show! Also, mieruko-chan(the manga) is super scary and funny

ooh, the earthsearch radio series from 1981! i have never seen anyone talk about it and i stumbled upon it by accident. very solid scifi and i really enjoyed it

also i googled making fiends and i really like the art style of it!

That sounds super interesting, I'll have to listen to it, since I like older sci-fi. BTW, have you ever listened to the old superman vs the kkk radio serial series? I started it but didn't finish it. You can find the whole thing on youtube, its really good. Also did you know that hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy started off as a radio serial on bbc?

see. okayokay okay. so. back in the late 2000s a church i went to started doing these summer events. theyd last around a week and a main component of them would be a theatrical production! and from 2015 - 2017 they put on this trilogy series called the architect trilogy. and it's literally my favorite thing of all time. it is unironically so interesting and it's clearly amateur production quality in some parts but it's SO good and recently at a different church they started remaking it so theres a movie version of the old first part and a remade version of the second part and next year theyre putting on the remade final part!!! it is SUCH an insane series and very flawed in some aspects but its also genuinely so complex and interesting?? i go insane over it its legitimately my favorite series on earth ever next to cozy grove. augh

i always win the obscure media competition with that series LOL -- i have a spreadsheet with all the episodes listed but the thing is that the original 2nd and 3rd parts were recorded in the same video as the entire event, so the spreadsheet has to specify the timestamps that the production Actually Happens

its basically about this place called phantom city -- it has a lot of 1940s + steampunk aesthetics with a sprinkle of classic gotham city vibes -- that this girl named charlie crane lives in! after she gets kicked out of her job making advertisements for the so-called superhero the cardinal, she sets out on a goal to figure out the truth behind why everyone in this city seems like so apathetic and blind to the truths in front of their faces like the fact the "superhero" stuff is all a big joke. its all a bunch of religious allegories but honestly its so easy to view without even noticing the allegories much. like theyre there but as someone who isnt particularly religious? its just as easy to not make the connections if u dont care for that stuff

Ohmygosh so Tom T. Hall. He's a country music artist. His songs are so good but I never hear anyone talk about them I own like all the albums on vinyl haha. My favorite song of his is Homecoming, but all his songs are so relaxing to listen to
