it's more known in argentina, but very few people have covered gaturro in the states. it's such a rabbit hole i would love to know more about this substandard garfield clone.

Anyone remember peep and the big wide world? When I was younger , it would be played at my school when nothing else was going on. We were older than the target audience,but it was one of those shows the entire school loved for some reason. Maybe it was the cute birds,but everyone loved it.

YES! OH MY GOSH, YES!! i was just thinking about it the other day! i have nothing but praise for peep and the big wide world, i loved it so much when i was little and i still do!!! it was educational in such a subtle way, so it never felt like it was infantilizing, and its core morals were based around exploring, meeting new kinds of people, and being kind to your friends. all three of the main characters are so endearing - peep's curiosity is adorable, chirp is really sweet and means well, and quack is silly and vain which is a really fun contrast. not to mention its backgrounds and music were both delightful and soothing in a really comforting way!! i had many a second grade day spent watching peep and the big wide world
