whats your favorite music genre?

love goth music of all flavors (post-punk, darkwave, industrial, etc.) but I have a big soft spot in my heart for breakcore/breakbeat and edm stuff!

i'll probably always be a sucker for some good old soft rock. really any rock suits my fancy (notably alt, folk, prog, classic) but the only one i don't like is screamo. i'm picky with metal too - just not usually my cup of tea.

big sucker for acoustic-based soft bittersweet music. and classical, jazz, etc... and some electronic (but not house lol ew)

and pop! as much as i deny it ;p i really love vocaloid pop in particular though.

i also like digital hardcore or punk adjacent stuff almost as much but i havent really went deep enough into those genres to consider them favs lol

Mine are mostly the same as yours! Except make that mostly music from before 2000, and take vocaloid off the list since I have no idea what the even sounds like lol!
The only real 'electronic' type stuff I like is mostly pop from the 80s or video game soundtracks. Otherwise not much.
Especially love soft rock though!!
