I hate New pop. idk. dislike isn't a strong enough word, nothing of these days can compare to 2000s- 2014 MAX pop music, I love my oldies and rock and metal, but ofc pop is an exception sometimes, but new pop makes my ears bleed.

cannot agree w these two more. i like some older panic songs but anything newer and brendon's voice is just grating, also any lyrics he wrote r absolutely awful, that man can NOT write a song to save his life.

and modern pop is a joke man. i call it the billie eilish effect because, really, any pop song after a certain year just sounds like a poor attempt to copy her already very bland and boring music.

I really truly can say I don't like the weeknd. His voice and lyrics are just... something else. I like some of his songs with features, or the ones that are more mainstream, but other than that it's a hard NO from me.

Anyone can make songs, THAT SAID, it's a lot more endearing when the artist knows more than four open chords. And Oh geez, the production? Sometimes these songs are difficult to listen to. I don't get the overblown, clipped guitar.

I want to get into Deftones but i just can't... theyre put in the same category as other nu-metal bands all the time and I really do want to get into them but I think the music is just a little too slow for my liking

someone I can't stand, however? Machine Gun Kelly and the whole tik-tokified version of emo (for lack of a better term, like tx2). It sounds manufactured, the vocals sound like parody, the lyrics are uninspired, and all in all, i just find it grating

country. i cant fathom as to why most of country music has like same generic tones in it. i cant really explain it but i also cant go a full 15 secs into the song because of the vocals in it
