Just finished reading The Word Changers by Ashlee Willis.
Brief non spoiler review:
Had a really sweet fantasy story and quite a few thought provoking moments, wasn't my kind of book though
during certain parts (Had a bit too much romantic/angsty drama at times for my taste.) and
the story ends rather anticlimactically when it came to answering certain general
questions about things. The main villain was amazing though, I'd rate it a 6.8/10.
I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Narnia or just wants a solid Christian fantasy
book with some good emotional quotes without too much descriptive violence/crudeness or overly preachy moments.
I will warn that this book seems to be clearly targeted towards a female audience by the general tone of the book,
the main protagonist is female, and the book is mostly from her perspective alone save for certain parts with the antagonists.
I feel that a male reader can easily enjoy this book however as well if they're willing to look past that.
Going to either read the Light of Loian or
the Bernovem Chronicles likely next, wish me luck!
