Zipped Files help!!

How do I put up a zipped file for download on a site? I'm trying to make my own petz website and I have, like, one breed I've hexed (it's not very good either and for some reason it strongly resembles a Lab... ) that I want to try and put on my website. I could use all the help I can get!!

You go to a file hosting site, like Savefile perhaps, and upload it there. After uploading, put the link that you got on the place you want the download link to be. And then, you've got your download link! Sorry if this isn't very helpful, or not helpful enough.
I've also seen that Chicken Smoothie can host breed files for you.
I hex too, but I'm not very good at it xD

(there's a savefiles.net, but I'm using the savefile.com...which one am I supposed to be using?)
