me when im in a boring and pointless narrative competition and my opponets are beowulf and macbeth

also do not get me started on to kill a mockingbird. "oh but its an anti racism book!!!" yeah, a terrible one. i never picked up anything anti racist about it, the n word is dropped every other page, and the book's author is not black. there's nore racism from this book than the opposite, when i hear it i think of teachers who INSIST that they need to say the word wjen it can easily be skipped over. instead of praising a terrible book with an extremely hollow anti racism message, maybe read a book like all american boys, an actual good anti racist book. it has two writers, one is white, and one is black, and it does not mention the n word a single time. it's a very good book

Any Twilight book (sorri Twilight fans, I love u, but it's just not for me), neither of them was worth the time and effort put into reading them :<

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but The Silent Patient.
It just didn't seem like there was any real reason why she wouldn't speak. The plot twist was OK. I just felt like I was missing something, some type of secrets or lore the characters know but the author didn't establish.
