You might also be able to ask people individually via ask to change their tags, although I'm not sure if that's feasible for you at this point. It might just be in the hands of the Internet now :(

No, I don't really like telling people what to do--I can't really "copyright" whatever GIFs I made since it's not like I animated it myself or anything either, despite what some GIF-maker people on the internet may say. If they want it Narumitsu they can say it's Narumitsu. ...I just strongly disagree. cx

If so, then I would like to say that I do not like those kinds of ships in particular, and it sort of drives me mad.

I, for one, strongly disagree with Narumitsu. I just do. Also, in an Ace Attorney game, if Phoenix is talking to Edgeworth or vice versa or if they are just standing next to each other, how is that tagged as Narumitsu? I mean, standing next to your friend is a normal thing.......

I don't ship anything, but I don't really care if people don't force it or do things like see every character interaction as the two characters loving each other. Since the AA fandom usually does the latter, I've kinda gotten sick of most popular ones. Then again, if you don't force it or be ridiculous, go ahead though I'll still silently ridicule.

*sigh*... I still don't get how people see *Phoenix & Edgeworth standing next to each other* as "OOH THEY LOvE!!!!". People doing this to friendly gestures and normal friend behaviors is the biggest thing that gets on my nerves.

Exactly! As I said before.... Standing next to a friend or talking with a friend is a normal thing. So, I don't understand why people do that (well, not everyone does that, to be honest).

Yeah. I mean, some ships are more understandable than others (though I still don't ship anything but canon), but the "obviously (best) friends" category (PhoenixxEdgeworth, ClayxApollo, KayxEdgeworth, etc. etc.) are my least favorite. If characters briefly flirt or something, I can see people shipping that, but not the other stuff.



Alright, if anyone remembers the Hunger Games: Ace Attorney version thing I was messing around with, I made a Spirit of Justice version. Something terrible (and spoilery!!!!!!) happened:

I mean, to be fair to Narumitsu, I can kind of see why people would ship it. Edgeworth played a big part in Phoenix's life, and the latter became a defense attorney to "save" him. If you don't look too much into it, Narumitsu can make sense on the surface. But most of the other things people use as evidence, like Edgeworth calling Phoenix "partner" makes 0 sense. He calls Franziska, Gumshoe, and Kay that as well. He calls whomever he's working with "partner".

But yeah, a lot of Narumitsu (and Klapollo, to a lesser extent) shippers like shoving it in everyone's faces and that either makes people love it or hate it.

Oh, and the "saddled with unnecessary feelings" thing being used as evidence.... oh boy.... It would make sense if he was referring to love etc., but he isn't, so anyone not well-versed in AA will use that mainly.
