can't get gifs to move

hi sorry im lost bc i am not the best at coding. i've been trying to use gifs bc it seems like a lot of people do on here and i'm trying to be cool n hip like all you guys but i can not figure out how to make them work for the life of me. pls help.

What I find best is to make sure that you open your image in a new tab. Then past the url.

Make sure that at the end of the url it has '.gif'
