Petzplayer in chrome?

So, I know a lot of (older) users here are familiar with Ubisoft's Petz series. And the magnificent petzA patch was made by our very own Nick

Now, onto my question. The Petz games had a website maker where you could build a webpage to show your petz interactively. a box where you could play (or better yet; let others play) with your pet and feed it.

The official plugin hasnt been updated since IE 5.5 or netscape.

I would love to be able to create petz webpages again. Does anyone know if it is possible to get this or something similar working in chrome?
