how do you make a poll?

I couldn't find poll creation and I'm on my own made fourm

what if I just want to make a random poll, like a new topic where it's just a poll. I fill out the options and then click submit but it won't work!

You can not just make a random poll, everything needs to have a point of discussion, but you can always create a topic that has not existed yet but it should be in the right board.

You have to make a subject first, like this one above that says Re: how do you make a poll?.

Next time, please don't gravedig and either make a new topic or search a question you have in the search function beside New Topic.

Hi horses10

On Chicken Smoothie, when you are creating or editing a topic, you will see tabs under the white text area. They read 'Options', 'Upload Attachment' and 'Poll Creation'.

Click the 'Poll Creation' tab and fill out the infortmation After making sure everything looks good, just hit submit and voila, you should have your poll set up.

I DONT HAVE A POLL CREATION BUTTON ?!?!!?!!!!

It is likely you can't see this button because you are editing the wrong post. I'm sure the poll creation tab only appears if you are editing the OP (original post, or first post in the thread), and if you did not start the thread originally you cannot create a poll on it.
This is from personal experience, so feel free to correct me if I went wrong somewhere~
