I also suggest putting something about color scheming. After all, if your topic is too bright to read, or the color coordination isn't very appealing, they may not want to read it at all, or will wonder how good your coloring skills even are. I often use soft relating colors that aren't going to contrast a whole lot, for example using a soft orange, and then going bright blue may not be so smart, but soft orange and soft blue has a better chance than any of attracting someone's eye, as the soft colors are gentler on your gaze and the complimentary of the pale orange and blue will cause both to stand out- even with how pale they are.
