Hey, all. I've been doing a terrible job of modding this thread lately and I apologize; I have PMs from as much as a month ago that I haven't even opened yet. As such, both the banned list and the unfinished claims section are currently out of date, and again I'm sorry about that. I'll try to get on that soon to alleviate any stress. If you finished an unfinished claim and should be unbanned feel free to begin posting again even if I haven't officially removed you from the front page yet, I'll try to update everything either tomorrow or the day after.
It's no excuse, but school hit hard and PMs piled up and it stressed me out enough that even opening CS was a chore, making the problem even worse. I'll try not to let it happen again.

Anyway, with that out of the way, here's the issue that finally pushed me out of my guilt-anxiety-avoidance cycle: there are a couple of reminders that I feel are needed.
1) Be respectful of each other. Honestly, seriously, I should not need to say this. This is a lighthearted thread to practice art and get a little something out of it. To get some art out of your system without a lot of stress or pressure. If you believe somebody is acting out of turn, please be mature about it. Kill them with kindness, PM a mod, or even PM the offender yourself in a mature and respectful way if you feel you must. If you PM them, make sure you're contacting them to have a discussion from which you can both benefit, not to try to put them down.
We allow artists of all skill levels here, and that isn't about to change any time soon.

2) That being said, we do have some basic quality rules in place. Please make sure to follow our size requirements and if you're unsure of your ability to accurately portray a certain character (either their anatomy or markings), please wait to claim until somebody posts an easier character. We want this thread to be lighthearted and fun, but at the same time, if you aren't putting in what you're getting out the thread ceases to function as it should and nobody wants to participate anymore.

Most of you, from what I've seen, have been very nice and I appreciate that a lot. So to the majority of people on this thread:
this post doesn't really apply to you, keep being awesome, I love that you're participating here and please keep it up!

If you have any concerns, please PM me. Don't post anything but claims on this thread, thanks!
