Pound lag getting worse?

The lag is SO frustrating ;w;
The page takes like 5 seconds or more to load and then 5 more when I click on a pet and then the pets been adopted already.. Really disheartening that like the majority of users aren't even ABLE to get anything good ;;

Mobile is even worse though.

Yesterday I didn't get any pets at all from the pound because of the lag. I'm thankful I got anything today

The pound wasn't even open for 2 minutes before everything got wiped out. First time I've never gotten anything without trying to!

POV you missed out on literally 24 wishlist pets including commons bc every time you touched something everything lagged for 10+ seconds

Putting more pets into each pound release could help as a band-aid measure. At the last pound opening, there were ~2400 users online, and ~1300 total pets in the pound. That would at least guarantee that people get *something* even if it's just a common, because it feels pretty bad to wade through the sea of lag and get absolutely nothing for it.

Tldr; a fix has been made that should help sort the lag; for the remainder of the event the pound will hold 2000 pets.

The opening today went really well!! (at least for me aha) The lag was like non-existent?

Idk if anyone else had this experience but like the lag was non-existent for once? Like it loaded very fast and I even hesitated to click this guy but it immediately said the adoption was successful?
Lately it’s taken like 5 or so seconds to load the page and then when I click a pet it lags 5 more seconds and then tells me that the pets been adopted.

Seconding that the open today was smooth and close to/if not the same as pre-update smoothness. Plus, it's still open right now, instead of being closed right away.
I will be interested to see how the changes made will work when there's another pound open right after/close to rollover when the player count is higher.
