How do you name your groups?

I like naming mine funny memey things, or media references. Like:

gaslight gatekeep girlboss <----my nft group, hence 'gatekeep'
dovewing's eyes <----they are all green pets
owo what's this? <----canines
memeclan <----cats
earth-chan is flat? always has been <----space theme

I just organize mine by animal, pretty unoriginal especially compared to yours, but my cat group is called Heatherclan and one of my baby pps cats (the type still sleeping in their blanket) is called Rain`Kit (From the warrior cat fanfic "What Is There To Do?")

My organization is pretty inefficient!

I use different symbols (- = ~ etc) to section off different categories and then usually use an accurate description (like doggies, insects, doggies (anime))

I have a billion different categories and unfortunately I mostly sort by vague concepts like "themes" or "vibes" instead of species, date, or rarity T-T so its.. pretty hard to find pets sometimes. I obviously still have species groups I just don't really use them all the time

Here are some that are technically accurate but a little more silly

• Jail <-i kept accidentally trading away pets I needed for my complete 2022 collection. So any unsorted ones go in jail
  
• Don't talk to me or my brother ever again <-pets with designs that look like one another
  
• Don't talk to me or my son ever again <-pps pets with gupps versions
  
• Frogs and Friends <- anything that is an amphibian or reptile, or looks like it would be friends with one

My goal is to keep stuff lighthearted but try (and fail) to at least let myself know what the groups are for. I have enough memory problems as it is, I dont need help forgetting what my groups are there for T-T

The groups with the most abstract sounding names are ones I literally just typed out on a whim and haven't decided to change (like why is there a group named "..With a grain of salt" who knows) I think its kinda fun to leave them as a tribute to my sleep deprived brain.. even if I do forget what they mean..

i separate my pets by year, store pets (all years lumped together), doubles in a trade section, babies in their own tab, and then favorites. i hate not knowing where to put a pet is so it makes it easy this way

I have a number of themes as well as general groups to store pets. I find the easiest way to sort is by month, then move pets I want in my other groups later.

my younger self decided to make the word 'babies' the suffix for all my groups. and out of respect to my past self i'm keeping it

here is my overly meticulous method of group naming. adding a - for each year it goes on and using emojis to indicate completion status (I suppose it will become a problem in a few years with very long group names but for now it is great!)

im kinda new but heres my inefficient method

cute bat cave is for bats, obvs, since im collecting them!! honorary bats is for ones with batlike features or featuring bats alongside them
other pets i really like is kinda self explanatory, anyone whose design i super latch on to that doesnt fit elsewhere goes here
tech themed you would never guess but theyre themed around technology
sort later is mostly my adopts that havent grown yet, alongside a few gifts i got which should probably make a category for soon

I sort pets by animal but some have slightly different/cutesy names like horsies for horses, kbities for cats, dear for deer or sneks for snakes
