Basic DEMAND (Applies to ALL RARITIES)

Generally; lions, dogs, dragons, or pets with special/aesthetic designs are nicer demand pets
More people try to collect these, so they're easier to trade off & more people prefer them in trades

Some pets like rats may be lower demand. Less people are looking for these, so they can take longer to trade off. Other people know this too, so they usually prefer getting pets that don't take as long to trade away so they don't get stuck with them
If you try swapping low demand for something nicer demand, you usually need to add extra


These are both 2021 Commons, but it's unlikely someone will accept the rat in a 1:1 swap for the dog, because it has a much more special and appealing design

Everyone likes different things, so try to read your trading partner's trade rules or thread to see what they like!

Trades where the pets are more than 2-3 rarities apart, or bulk trades with lots of pets, the exact numbers don't matter
You and your trade partner can just focus on what feels okay to both sides!

High Value Pets

"Old Rares" = Rare pets from 2010/2011

"MA" are used to measure the more expensive pets on the site
1 MA = 10 Old Rares
1.5 MA = 15 Old Rares
2 MA = 20 Old Rares
2.5 MA = 25 Old Rares
3 MA = 30 Old Rares
And so on!

When things reach 10 MA (or 100 Old Rares) they start being measured in "Nons"
1 Non = 10 MA = 100 Old Rares
1.5 Nons = 15 MA = 150 Old Rares
2 Nons = 20 MA = 200 Old Rares
3 Nons = 30 MA = 300 Old Rares
And so on!

"What does Trade Up/Down mean? What's a List, UR, RR, TD, WWA?"

UR; "UnReleased"; a pet who's ONLY ever been released in December 18th boxes. All Special Release pets in the archives, except zebras/malk dragons/cake dogs, are URs

TD; "True Date"; a pet adopted in it's original release, usually the date it has in the archive
RR; "ReRelease"; a past rare/higher pet adopted on December 18th (rerelease day) instead of it's archive date
Extended Release; a pet with an extremely long original release

Trade Up; Trading lower value pets that add up to a higher value one. If you trade your commons for 1 uncommon, you're the one trading up
Trade Down; Trading a higher value pet for lower value ones that add up to it. If you trade your 1 uncommon for some commons, you're the one trading down

"List Pet"; Leftover term that meant the rarest pets on CS. As of of the 2023 Overhaul, these pets are now Tiers 1-6. Old stores may also be referred to as "list". Any terms like "mains, septembers, advents, octobers" came from lists

Okay, but how do I actually use this?

(1.) Find where your pet is (What tier, or if it's a regular VR)
(2.) Look at it's demand (Is it a High, Mid, or Low pet? Is it's name red (+) or blue (-)?)
(3.) If it's red (+) or blue (-), look at the Demand Masterpost
If it's not, just use the normal Tier worths!
