Alas, as a COPPA player I didn't really understand how date factored in because i only had 2 rares to my name at this point. The rarities of these pets were probably closer back then, but today it kinda hurts to look at mostly bc this was the majority of the early pets I got from the pound and I kinda wish I had still them lol

Here’s the trades I learned “don’t overpay a lot for the most in demand outcome”, I still regret this even tho it’s small in the whole scheme of things. I can’t believe I did it three times though, and I don’t even like the spider PPS.

But there are a lot of wins too, I feel bad for the other person in retrospect but at the time it was a free pet for a token pet! A lot of those camping event pets that were the hourly token trade ins are only common now.
I actually found several “uncommon for uncommon” trades that are now extremely uncommon for common. Or what I like to call, “even the three month rule wouldn’t even save you.”

The last two were autos for auctions run by the same person, they wanted bulk. They Blue Toxic I got for a whopping 6000 pets and the Red Toxic I got for an astounding 1532 items! Items didn’t work for me for a while (first 1-2 years I was on the site) so I didn’t mind trading them back then 😂

The posts in this thread just prove that it isn't a bad idea to check in with users who send you overpay trades to make sure that they understand what they're offering.

I worry sometimes that they might be offended or think I'm insulting them, but I'd rather that than for them to regret a trade a month later.


However, I do have a trade I regret from my end, and that's auctioning my Joker for a Fire Sprite from FR I listed the sprite as an auto because I didn't think anyone would offer it, but they immediately did and I realized I'd greatly underestimated the Joker's value LOL but I had to honor my auto
