five million date swaps later, the group of rarity butterfly wolves are finally in order and it looks so good!! getting 4 of each wasn't too hard, date swapping was what took so much time but it was worth it.

Finally went through and updated my Hoarding Topic and my GOODNESS do my fingers hurt TToTT At least it made me feel better about the progress I've made on some of my hoards. Many more completed hoards were added as well, which was great! <3

I've been having so much fun making mine I've moved on to finally recounting my pet collection totals and posting them there too. Organizing things is fun!

Lol I'm happy to have inspired people to update/make their own topics! <3 It is DEFINITELY a lot of work but something about organizing my hoards and listing their numbers and such just scratches an itch in my brain.

So I haven't fallen in love with a pet design so hard in a long time, but the new eclipse forest spirit pets just hit right. Prior to this I've only been working on hoarding the 2012 hyena staff pet and 2015 hyena litter, but I just had to start a hoard for these cuties and I am giving them all space themed names.

got inspired do a hoard that just has 5x of my fave bw outcomes in a line! but then i made a companion group for the ones im working on litterswapping bc i didnt like that it looked so messy haha. now i've been out doing litterswaps - currently focusing on the easter 2023 litter / going thru my collection to pick out my fave outcomes !

i thought i finally finished another row for it only to realize that this bw is longer than standard and only 4 make the line which threw off the group :'] oh well! i decided on 5x across bc thats how many bws line up, 5 is my fave number, and i use an extension to make my groups 50 pets long so full page hoards look a lil silly with it. i hope i end up liking this hoard idea, it's been pretty fun so far!

Question about hoarding:
Why do a lot of people make hoards of just like 20 pets or something? All of my hoards are infinite ones. I just want as many as possible!
No judgment at all! I'm just curious what makes people want only 20 or so of a pet?

Question about hoarding:
Why do a lot of people make hoards of just like 20 pets or something? All of my hoards are infinite ones. I just want as many as possible!
No judgment at all! I'm just curious what makes people want only 20 or so of a pet?

20 pets is the default amount of pets per page! so most people will collect one full page so it looks nice for aesthetic reasons c:

to answer the second one - personally i like to have all my hoards <20 so that way they will look nice spaced out evenly together! some people (me included) will even name the pets in a certain way so they are spaced out like this! making sure that it looks nice on cs mobile / cs web matters to me too. another personal reason is i tend to like popular designs that other people like too - collecting less means other people also get the happy vibes when they see the pets in their collections! i'm also impatient and less pets to collect = faster completed hoards = faster serotonin when looking at my groups. my wl is also large and im new to hoarding - i'd be interested in seeing if i still feel like this next year!
