Is a true date BMD worth more than a non-true date? I'm confused.
Lately people when I offer for their pet(s) tell me they value their
pets at *insert higher tier*, due to it being a "true date" but I thought
that didn't affect it's overall value? (Unless perhaps swapping)?

Nope, true dates and rereleases are worth the same, though some may pay more for truedates for collection purposes or something or the sort. People will usually pay list incentives for mainlist truedates, for example, the BMD usually goes for a balloon dog with demand, though I've seen truedates get sorbets. They aren't worth a sorbet by any means, but because some people have paid such an amount for a truedate BMD, it usually affects how others will value their BMD simply because they think they can also get a sorbet for their TD BMD. Demand is very much user based, so certain people may value their truedates more because they paid more for it, but that just increases greed demand for truedates, imo.
