Ahh recently came back to the site and started again on my sitting/warrior cat collection. I still need most of the list cats, but that's okay! I'm just afraid I'll trade all my smaller lists for them and end up with no advent/septembers lol!

i finally finished my owl collection after like years!! tbf i didn't actively try to trade for older owls though


i also finished zodiac collection but that only took a day or two since i had extra zodiacs to swap (funnily enough the last zodiac dog i managed to get was my actual sign lmao)

i'm kinda collecting malk foxes next (and all 2017 pets), and considering just trying to get all malk pets (since no more are being released so it'll feel less overwhelming) but idkk

I'm not really sure if this is anything to be proud of at all, but my item collection stands at 5241/6801

I'm not trying for the custom and semi custom items of course. I just want all the ones in the archives

I'm proud of myself as today I managed to trade for a lot of items I was missing -

Congrats! That's a major accomplishment! Right now, I'm missing 11 items from the archive but they are all the harder to find ones >.<

oo! Good luck!! The ones I'm missing right now are mostly items currently buyable in the c $ store ...
And of course other really difficult ones. But most are just c $ items

What do you guys think about true dates? Do you prefer them in your collection?

I receive a couple of trades every month with people asking for date swaps.

Honestly, I don't care about the dates beneath the pet. But (!) I never swap them for "false dates" because I have experienced many times that newer users are confused when I tell them that the pet was originally released in 2008 and not 2014.

So, I don't care about them, but I don't do swaps because I am lazy and I find it easier to trade true dates, esp to newer users.

meh, I don't really care about true dates. a bunch of my butterfly wolves are re-releases in my full collection, but I don't care. Some I don't even want a date swap for, especially my UR butterfly wolf, I'd rather keep the 2016 re-release because I got it right from the box which makes it very special to me. Same with my android in my store pet collection that has a faulted ID. I don't really want to swap it for a correct ID, I like it like that.

I won my ultimate dreamie from a writing contest! The UR Malk has been a huge dreamie of mine since I first joined, and I just... ajfklajklfd; I can't believe this is happening!
I was thinking about putting a hiatus on my Malk collection, but now I feel motivation to finish it ;u;

every time I buy C$, I try to 'complete' a C$ store item collection - so I will buy all of a certain type of clothes or wigs.. Ive found it doesnt hurt as bad to buy 10 wigs and spend 50C$ or so at a time every month or 2 when I buy more C$ lol

for my collection I dont care.. but if I have to dig through to get them, I would at least like a little something for my time (a recent pet or a few for newer releases & at least an 09 rare or low ladvent for higher list pets.. I know, especially if the person is trying to trade them off it appears to be easier to trade true dates as there are some users who only collect them)
