Staff Litter Discussion Thread 2017

I love the pups and the color palette this year! Sadly I missed all the detective work, I usually stalk this thread (and maybe the artists...) all September, but I was so busy this year that I missed all the fun. Oh well. Shout out to the wonderful CS staff for an amazing litter once agian!

On a side note, you know you're getting to be an older member when you mix up your staff litters. I thought the 2015 litter was last year... I remember those discussions vividly.

My favorite pet this year would have to be Lillian's. The design has all of the aspects I love in a pet (dragon-like wings, horns, a companion) and the story is beautiful. I teared up a bit, and Thalia's story (or, what we know of it at least) really resonates with me. Thank you, Lillian. (By any chance do you have a copy of that design with arrows? I'd love to see it.)

So I decided to finish my previous drawing digitally and-

I'm actually super surprised and happy with how the details came out, I was quite doubtful that I would be able to do justice to the cracks on her body and details on the clothes. I just randomly clicked one of the brushes I had and tried messing around and it actually worked? I used one brush for all the details. I would have made the URL bigger but I merged the text layers and was too lazy to redo it, but that is the chicken smoothie URL.
