*DISCONTINUED* Rares List Guide (1 March 2019)

The point of the new list is not so people do not apply demand, it's for people to apply demand at their discretion. The old list already incorporated demand and even then people would re-aply demand. I really think it will help bring certain pet prices down as people are only trading certain pets for crazy amounts because they think they're rare on top of having high demand as well as what was previously explained (x person paid y amount so I want a little more out of it).

As for store pets staying rare for a while, I'm pretty sure two of the store corgis were rare up until this year or last

Ho, boy, I've got several questions.

1) Okay so, all the pre-july rats and dogs should share a tier? In the future rarity-ony list, I mean. Well, perhaps the rats would be higher as less people want them, and thus, were adopted less.

2) Does anyone knows when the Raven's demand started going up? Like, it was a rare for a whole year after it's release, it should've been 'common' at the time.

3) Why aren't the 2008's October and November dogs in the list? Or at least, one of them. According to the rarity list of 2008, some outcomes were uncommon/rare. The Joker was also labeled at rare at the time, and I've seen people say it would be worth a September list without demand.

4) Rarity guide 2009, is it safe to assume all 'Crazy Rare' pets belong in the (high) list? However, the Dark Wood Dog was an uncommon. Was it placed due to demand, or due to miscalculations?

Holy heck, this is pretty long, but I'm way too curious for my own good. Apologies if this doesn't makes sense.

I think discussion is getting really off target again.

Right now we are discussing the previous unreleased pets. Peach zonkey cinnabun. Not the raven. There are plenty of pets that need discussing before the raven. Just think about what would happen if the raven was moved up, so you really want to pay an ur tiger per raven? There is a very solid reason why it sticks with the patchwork on the list : the patchwork is actually rarer. That being said, lets drop the raven topic and go back to the URs?

Lets try to stick to the ur peach for now, it shouldve been added a long time ago. Try to form your own opinion on the matter much rather then just quoting someone and saying 'i agree'. It helps further the discussion that way :)

As for the peach, it has decent demand. It's the favorite fruit as I've seen, and the most I've seen one go for is a UR Bee + a non. on average I'd say it goes for roughly 1-3 nons.

The raven isnt that rare. Theres always a plenty of them for trade. The reason people want overpay is because they overpaid, its the perfect example of a greed loop. What i meant with my sentence is now the raven is low on the list it can still get 'reasonable' overpay. If the raven was high on the list, nobody will trade it for less then that high place. You create a new normal and thus set the 'greed overpay' even higher then what it is now.

Ive mostly seen the ur peach go for roughly 2 sorbets.

The ur peach mainly went for nons back when it was first released, but now I've only really seen people offer 2 sorbets for it

So I'd say the peach went for nons closer to its release date but now most tend to only offer up to 2 sorbets

From what I have seen of the peach it hasn't gone for a non for a while. The majority of trades and advice I have seen all point to it going for around 2 sorbets.

I've had a similar experience. I've seen plenty of Peaches offered for Nons being turned down,
told that the Peach was only being valued at two Sorbets. I wish I could go find those trades, they're mostly on the FTT, but they're incredibly difficult to track down x.x

It's been a while since I've seen a Peach swapped for a pet that goes for a Non either (you know, Ravens, Liontail set, Drink Me,
UR Malk, etc.), and I don't think it's demand will allow it to go back up. It's still OMGSR, so that's good because it won't sink too low,
but it's just not that highly sought after, and it seems like the UR Peach being placed at two Sorbets, or just a little above, is about fair. Personally, I'm leaning towards it being placed just above the gap so that it will go for two Sorbets, seeing as the demand is slightly below average (in my experience).

I completely agree here. I was getting nons for peaches last year but about this entire year they have not gone for more than two sorbets. I cannot remember any trades I’ve recieved with peaches at the moment, but usually when they do get offered it’s very typical for people to value them at two sorbets. That seems to be the average price that gets accepted.

I know this is WAYYYYYY too early to really say much on behalf of the UR peas, but a friend of mine swapped her peas for a peach, and the peas at the given moment seem to go for 2 sorbs to a non. So that’s I guess a two sorbs trade? As I said I know it’s way too early to say anything about the peas. Just using that trade to add to the two sorbs discussion. Right above the gap would be a pretty fair place to put them. As jiloon said, putting them above the gap would protect them from going for insanely low prices since the peach doesn’t have the best demand. At least if it’s above the gap people will be more interested in trying to get getting full value, perhaps?

I think its important to remember the past 2 years. The peach has consitanly gone for more then a non and only recently had a bit of a dip. I blame that dip on false advice being spread around, re people being told its worth only 2 sorbets.

The whole reason the peach was not placed with the other ur is because upon its release people kept shouting its worth a non. It kept being spread around and around so we didnt know if it was worth a non or if that was just the worth people kept advicing for it. After 2 years, a non still seems commonly paid, over a non even.

Id personally be most comfortable putting it at the tier above the nons. It consistantly gets this as payment, i can find more trades from just when it got released when it went for ur bees etc too but i doubt thatll add anything. Putting it above gap means a non will still most likely be paid, those that want 2 sorbets just overpay for them.

We have two full years of looking at the peach, not just the regular one year. Lets not base its placement on a recent dip but look at the overall picture c:
