I'm always sort of disappointed when St. Patrick's day does little more than green and shamrock designed pets and items. Like St. Patrick did some pretty interesting stuff, banishing snakes from Ireland, making his walking stick turn into a tree, etc. Then there is the leprechauns... oh so much green, despite leprechauns traditionally wearing red. I'd love to see a traditional leprechaun outfit in red in the future. Also since St. Patty's day is basically a love letter to all things Ireland, more fey designs would always be nice (The selkie rats were so awesome)! But I get that doing the stereotypical Irish symbols makes pets and items more recognizable.

...Wait... maybe there are no snake designs because ST. Patrick banished them?... hah! Brilliant.. that's gonna be my head cannon now.

Edit: just noticed we got some snakes and staffs in the 2011 event. Awesome! Still wanna see more of that!

I really like this year's full grown St Patrick's horse. It's very visually appealing. Good job, Emberwolf!

I think that with this being the 9th year of St Patrick's day pets, it's just hard to come up with super interesting designs. Although it looks like the pups aren't going to be green or beshamrocked, which is nice.

Not trying to get off topic or anything but isn't ChickenSmoothie's birthday next month? Dang we're getting spoiled with events! I have high hopes for this year! I'm really looking forward to Easter too. There has been a lot of really nice pets made as of recently and I'm excited to see bunny versions of them (fingers crossed for a UR Fox bunny) this month has been great too! I love the foxes and the sea slug ponies are really cool and it's been fun trying to figure them out (which we still have yet to do with 2 of them) the PPS chameleon is really cute too!

Three of my St Patrick pups grew tonight leaving me with only one newborn left. Hopefully (barring a split with tonight's outcome) there is only one more left to grow.
