I wonder if the dogs will take weeks to grow, like that one year with the 2nd gens where everyone was eagerly waiting for them to grow and confused because they kept not growing.

I highly doubt that. Wasn't there a reason for why those didn't grow? Like the final outcomes weren't finished or something like that?

From what I remember, they simply weren't considered "event pets", but for me St. Patrick's Day is definitely an event.
