How Did You Get Your Most Valuable Pet?

well now I have recently obtained something far above the value of everything else I have, so new reply and I changed my poll selection hehe



I'd call it Lucky Trade - saw someone posting they wanted to do a trade down with their flamingo, and open to getting old store pets. Well, I happened to have a large vault group of old store pets I'd been saving for a decade... traded all of them for the flamingo in a trade that rounded the flamingo side down and my side up, so very happy with that! Over time the store pet side's value will catch up with the flamingo side but I am happy even so!

I just wanted to say this is a lovely story and you dressed her up BEAUTIFULLY! It feels almost close to being accurate to where flamingos live, too!

I was lucky enough to visit the Atacama salt flats in Chile in the desert and see flamingos in the wild this summer... the front part of the dress up with the mountains in the background (basically without the grass though I'm sure other flamingo habitats have grassy hills) looks JUST like where they lived! The ground was a reddish copper color.

Anyway, that made me happy, this is amazing. Glad you got a lucky trade!

I have a few different ones that I have gotten in all different ways.


My Malk dragon PPS is by far my most valuable pet in terms of sentimental value. It had been my main dream pet for years, and one day I received it as a gift from an incredibly kind user. I will never forget that, one of my best memories on CS.



This 09 UR was an incredibly lucky pound catch. Over the years I’ve had my fair share of good pound catches, but I don’t think anything will ever beat out this one.


And finally, my red cerberus was won in an auction a few years ago. Which considering how much their value keeps climbing, I think this was kinda a steal honestly lol

I also received the dogtag in that trade from December 18th one year, so overall I think my luck on here has been pretty decent

I got this 2014 store pet as a gift from a quitting user, it is very special to me because I love to do origami irl.

I have now gotten what I believe is an even more valuable pet from the pound!! I don’t know values exactly but it’s an extremely rare store pet from 2012 so that’s very valuable to me. I’m really happy about it!

By age, it might be . It appears I was gifted it in exchange for a couple of uncommons! Nice. Don't remember what I did to receive the gift, though, lol.

By rarity alone, it's the flamingo i got on a december 18th in the past. But by sentimental value, it's these two, gotten as gifts from a friend, who introduced me to cs (though she doesn't play anymore i still think fondly of our time spent together online) <3

The lantern dog was a sweet welcome gift.
The other one was given to me later on, i could tell she was still attached to this one, considering she asked me to keep his name. <3

And this store gryphon, I got it for trade, the person was asking for the very rare 2022 halloween dragon.
